King Mackerel of 28.5kg. Shot on the north-east pinnacle (shallows) on Aliwal Shoal on 23 March 1975. Very poor visibilty and a long shot into the murk; very lucky to land it. |

Sailfish of 36kg. Shot on Aliwal Shoal on 2 December 1979. Both fish were from the same shoal, the other fish was shot by Dani Oosthuisen (now living in Brisbane). |

Wahoo of 28.5kg. Shot off the north-east pinnacle on Aliwal Shoal on 20 May 1979. We had hundreds of wahoo, in very large shoals, around us for most of the day. Crystal visibility and they were very shy. I ended the day with three wahoo all over 20kg. |
